Job summary

Penn Entertainment is seeking team members to provide exceptional guest services at our Lake Charles property. The role includes front desk responsibilities and housekeeping coordination within a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The position requires the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front office staff to ensure smooth operations. On-site work and a focus on guest satisfaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping and hotel department functions.
• Typically requires at least 1 year housekeeping or clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and handle interactions with customers and coworkers.
• Update and maintain correct hotel room status in the system and on board.
• Maintain permanent records including occupancy, status, logs, and work orders.
• Inform and direct priorities to housekeeping, front office, maintenance, engineering and locksmith teams.
• Handle receptionist and telephone procedures effectively.
• Keep Housekeeping Managers informed of current information.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
• Updates and maintains correct hotel room status in computer system and on board.
• Maintains permanent records of the following: room occupancy, status and statistics, phone logs, maintenance logs, attendance logs, lost and found logs and work orders.
• Informs and directs priorities to Housekeeping Inspectors, Front Office Personnel, Preventative Maintenance, Engineering and Locksmith.
• Receptionist and telephone procedures.
• Keeps Housekeeping Managers advised of all current information.
