Job summary

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, MS, seeks a dedicated hotel housekeeping team member to maintain clean rooms and ensure guest comfort. You will stock amenities, report repairs, and uphold high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced casino environment.

Prior hotel experience is preferred. The role requires good communication, physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work with a diverse team to deliver outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small groups.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Prior hotel experience preferred.
• Good communication skills required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keeps rooms clean (vacuum, dust, glass cleaning, bathrooms, linens).
• Notifies Housekeeping Dispatcher or Supervisor when repairs are needed.
• Ensures each room is properly stocked.
• Ensures guest rooms are in proper working order.
• Ensures linens and terry are without defect.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, courteous manner with customers and team members.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Must be able to bend 20 percent from the waist, stand/walk 40 percent and lift 20 percent.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
