Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Reno, NV, is seeking a housekeeping team member to perform cleansing tasks in guest rooms, including carpet care, floor scrubbing and polishing surfaces to uphold our service standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning high and low areas, assisting in minor maintenance, and following safety procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is valued; teamwork and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
• Ability to read, and communicate verbally in English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Possess initiative and high energy level.
• Must be able to follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, and have memorization skills.
• Knowledge of chemical use, OSHA regulations, and biohazard clean-up procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning assignments in guest rooms including shampooing carpets, scrubbing floors, polishing marble surfaces and furniture.
• Clean high and low areas (ceilings, light fixtures, baseboards, etc.) as assigned.
• Assist in minor maintenance as requested.
• Follow safety precautions and report hazards to supervisor.
• Remove room service dishes promptly and check lamps/fixtures for burned out bulbs.
• Complete training of blood borne pathogen procedures and attend departmental meetings.
