Job summary

Extended Stay America in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Housekeeper who will clean guest rooms in line with our standards and policies, helping ensure a positive guest experience.

You will stock supplies, report maintenance or guest property issues, assist guests with reasonable accommodations, and complete required training while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the hotel.

No prior experience required; we offer weekly pay, competitive wages and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms according to company standards.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists and provides reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests when possible.
• Complies with all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes all required and annual Extended Stay University training.
