Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide clean and welcoming guest rooms in accordance with our guidelines. You will support the hotel’s cleanliness standards, assist with luggage and laundry areas, and help ensure guest satisfaction through timely service and safety awareness.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced hotel environment. Training is provided to maintain high service quality and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms following company standards and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed and directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Reports remaining guest property in checkout rooms to the front desk or manager on duty.
• Assists guests and provides reasonable accommodation when possible.
• Follows all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes Extended Stay University trainings.
