Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring a Guest Room Attendant at Vdara in Las Vegas. You will maintain guest rooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort, delivering a WOW experience that guests remember long after their stay.

Starting rate is $24.6446 per hour. You must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and have at least 3 months of related experience or relevant training from the Culinary Training Center.

Responsibilities

• Restock towels and bathmats and ensure guest comfort.
• Report unusual room conditions or needed repairs.

THE STARTING RATE: $24.6446 / Per Hour

The Day-to-day

• Clean guestrooms including making beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, and wiping down or dusting all surfaces
• Clean bathrooms including basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors using proper chemicals and cleaning procedures
• Replenish all guest amenities, information folders, soaps, tissues, and other room supplies as needed
• Place clean bathmats on tubs and/or shower doors and restock clean towels on towel racks
• Report unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Three (3) months of related experience in housekeeping, or exposure to the hospitality industry and training from the Culinary Training Center
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
