Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

You will restock amenities, maintain cleanliness of rooms and public areas, report maintenance issues, and ensure safety and security of hotel property. A strong work ethic and ability to lift and move supplies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies and keeps carts and storerooms clean and orderly.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms and public areas to maintain a clean facility.
• Replaces towels, soaps and room amenities and restocks literature as needed.
• Cleans hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, fixtures and wall hangings to remove dust and cobwebs.
• Remakes beds with fresh linens and checks cleanliness of bed areas.
• Lifts mattresses to inspect for soil.
• Inspects and secures closet cleanliness and restocks supplies.
• Vacuums rooms and hallways, moving furniture as needed.
• Inspects door/window locks and reports safety issues to management.
• Inspects room equipment to ensure proper function and reports maintenance needs.
• Maintains custody of equipment and supplies; stays courteous and helpful.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
