Job summary

ALH Corporate is seeking a Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the hotel’s standards of hygiene and presentation. The role emphasizes attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to guest comfort during stays.

The Housekeeping Department expects you to perform cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues while following safety protocols and brand guidelines. Candidates with prior housekeeping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required; prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential housekeeping tasks and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock towels and toiletries.
• Report maintenance issues or room damage to the appropriate department.
• Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Respond to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Use only approved cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces.
• Update status of rooms as necessary.
• Log and securely store lost and found items per brand/company requirements.

Education
