Job summary

Sonesta is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team in Columbus, OH. You will clean guest rooms and public spaces to model Sonesta's service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, responding to guest requests, and reporting maintenance needs. Prior housekeeping experience and fluent English are preferred; availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta service standards in all guest interactions.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms and areas per standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, trash).
• Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms can be sold or occupied.
• Report rooms that cannot be serviced per procedures.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Handle lost and found items per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily coordination with shifts.
