Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team across our properties in the United States. You will clean guest rooms and public spaces, delivering the Sonesta standard of service with efficiency and care.

Responsibilities include making beds, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, processing laundry when assigned, and reporting maintenance needs. You’ll work with others to ensure guest comfort and hotel cleanliness during shifts that cover mornings, evenings,

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public spaces to brand standards.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, and sanitize bathrooms; remove trash.
• May include cleaning the kitchen area, room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishware, etc.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report any rooms not serviced.
• Monitor laundry supplies and equipment when assigned to laundry; operate washers and dryers.
