Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant at the Residence Inn Bloomingdale, IL. You will maintain clean guestrooms and provide attentive, courteous service to all guests in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and professional communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties and stock supplies.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and corridors.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping carts for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles and report missing items.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
