Job summary

Hampton Inn Fort Wayne is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain clean and inviting guestrooms while delivering courteous service to every guest. The role involves cleaning, stocking supplies, and supporting housekeeping operations to ensure a superior guest experience.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
