Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant in San Diego to support the Housekeeping Management Team by cleaning guest rooms and public spaces in line with brand standards, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; fluent English is preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.00 with benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta Service standards in all guest interactions.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure corrective action for satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to standards, including bathrooms and common spaces.
• Assist with laundry duties and monitor supplies and equipment.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report any issues promptly.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with shifts and management.
• Comply with health and safety laws and hotel policies.
