Table Mountain Casino Inc. is seeking a housekeeping associate to clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas. You will ensure a hygienic, welcoming environment for guests and support a high standard of service across hotel areas.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to safety and security procedures. Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
• Skill in using cleaning tools, chemicals, cleaners and disinfectants.
• Clear English communication, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with diverse coworkers.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to learn cleaning methods for buildings and equipment.
• Team player in a structured working environment.
• Ability to work with timeliness and thoroughness.

Responsabilités

• Replenish guest floor linen and supply closets; pick up dirty linen and deliver items.
• Be pleasant and friendly to guests and assist them as necessary.
• Replenish supplies such as glasses, writing supplies, amenities and in-room collateral.
• Wash windows, walls and mirrors.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms and replace soap and paper products.
• Turn mattresses and perform heavy cleaning of guest rooms as needed.
• Clean lobby, restrooms, corridors, elevators and back-of-house areas and offices.
• Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets and drapery; dust furniture and wash walls and ceilings.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean trash receptacles; transport waste to disposal areas.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
• Maintain an amicable relationship with co-workers and supervisors.
• Care for equipment and minimize waste of supplies.
• Follow safety procedures for heavy equipment use and security procedures; know emergency and fire procedures.
• Take responsibility for tasks to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clean all areas assigned; shampoo carpets and strip/wax floors as directed.
• Maintain and clean equipment used.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Perform other duties as required across hotel areas.
• Notify supervisor when rooms are complete and ready for sale.
