Job summary

Mountaineer Casino is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to clean hotel rooms, hallways, spa, and pool areas to high standards, restock supplies, and keep guest rooms welcoming for the next day.

You will follow safety guidelines, work as part of a team, and handle shifts with flexibility; must be 17+ and pass background checks. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning product use.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude at all times.
• Knowledge of events and promotions.
• Answer calls promptly and friendly.
• Available to work all shifts.
• Minimum age 17 to work in the hotel.
• Able to pass background check and WV Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Clean between 12–18+ rooms in a shift, depending on occupancy.
• Mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces in hotel, lodge, spa, pool areas, and entrances.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock guestrooms, carts, and closets.
• Remove trash and debris from rooms and floors.
• Attend to guest housekeeping needs as required.
• Complete room checklists in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
