Summary of Position
Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for guests’ arrivals. Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and respond promptly and graciously to all guest requests.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of facility experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
General Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Housekeeping procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures and chemical safety guidelines.
- Maintain a guest-focused approach to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Clean guest rooms with attention to detail and care.
Specific Responsibilities
- Demonstrate integrity, take ownership of personal actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, and adhere to Company’s Operating Procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests with a smile.
- Practice safety standards at all times to keep the property safe for guests and staff.
- Understand hotel safety procedures such as proper lifting, ladder safety, first aid, eye protection, and chemical safety.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms according to company standards.
- Inspect linen for stains, debris, and condition prior to use.
- Inspect all cleaned rooms for quality and cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize public areas as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues and any illegal activities to management.
- Report lost and found items to your supervisor.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Ensure all guest rooms are safe and secure by verifying doors are properly latched.
- Perform duties of House Person and Laundry Attendants as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
