Job summary

Indiana University Health Fort Wayne is seeking a Supervisor-Guest Relations, Volunteers, and Patient Transport to lead the guest relations, volunteers, and patient transport teams onsite.

You will oversee scheduling, performance reviews, staff coaching, and throughput, ensuring a positive patient and visitor experience in accordance with hospital policies. Experience in leadership and hospitality is preferred, with 3–5 years in relevant roles.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• 5 years of professional experience in a hospital or hospitality service focused position is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide functional guidance and direction in guest relations, volunteers, and patient transport departments to ensure a positive patient/visitor experience.
• Manage scheduling, performance appraisals, reviews, and staff coaching across the departments.
• Identify complex or escalated issues and coordinate resolution with staff.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
