Job summary

The Standard High Line is seeking a FSD Guest Relations Agent/Security (Full-Time) to monitor and patrol hotel areas, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. The role reports to the Director of Guest Relations and involves enforcing security procedures throughout the property.

Candidates must have a valid NYS Security Guard License, strong English skills, and availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid active New York State Security Guard License (Security Card).
• FSD T-89 Certificate? required or preferred.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete awareness of scheduled group activities and house count.
• Review department logs and follow up actions with all shifts.
• Issue keys and equipment to designated hotel personnel; maintain records.
• Ensure all non-hotel personnel at employee entrance are documented per policy.
• Supervise inspection of employee packages, purses, bags, etc.
• Provide escorts for employees.
• Ensure after-hours access to secured areas is authorized and documented.
• Handle deliveries during non-business hours per procedures.
• Coordinate with outside agencies as required and follow hotel regulations.
• Patrol the property and review logs; document actions taken.
