Job summary

The Standard, High Line is seeking a full-time FSD Guest Relations Agent/Security in New York. The role combines guest relations support with security patrols across hotel spaces to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring cameras, escorting staff, handling after-hours access, and coordinating with external agencies as needed. A NYS security license and FSD T-89 are required, along with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License (Security Card).
• FSD T-89 Certificate.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Review logs, monitor hotel status, and coordinate with shift teams.
• Escort employees and manage access controls at entrances.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with security and guest-relations.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and document incidents and actions taken.
• Investigate alarms, losses, thefts, and guest complaints with reports.
