Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Guest Relations Agent/Security (Full-Time) to protect guests and team members at The Standard, High Line, NYC. You will monitor the property, manage access, and respond to emergencies with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Requirements include a New York State Security Guard License, the FSD T-89 Certificate, and hospitality experience is preferred. Candidates must be available nights, weekends and holidays, and must maintain high standards of appearance and

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License (active)
• FSD T-89 Certificate
• Experience in hotel or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong reading, comprehension and instruction-following abilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned hotel areas to ensure guest and employee safety.
• Review logs and follow up actions with shifts and agents.
• Escort employees and manage access to secured areas.
• Coordinate emergencies per departmental guidelines and liaise with responders.
• Investigate incidents and document all reports thoroughly.
• Provide first aid/CPR when required and report incidents immediately.
