Job summary

Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is seeking a Restaurant Attendant to keep El Jefe cantina clean, organized, and guest-ready in a fast-paced, lively setting. You will support servers and bartenders to ensure smooth service during busy periods and events, while maintaining a welcoming, casual atmosphere for every guest.

Responsibilities include stocking, clearing, setting tables, and helping guests with menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Literate and fluent in English.
• Above average communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift bus tubs weighing up to 30 pounds and move carts weighing up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Stocker to ensure adequate supplies of china, silverware, glassware, and accessories at stations.
• Maintain properly stocked and organized service stations.
• Clear tables of all items and place soiled dishware in the bus tub compartments; dispose of garbage properly.
• Set and reset tables according to service standards.
• Transport bus-tub carts to the kitchen and unload full bus tubs in designated areas.
• Escort guests from the podium to assigned tables in a professional, courteous manner.
• Remove unneeded silverware and china from tables after guests are seated.
• Support waitstaff to promote fast, courteous, and efficient food service.
• Be familiar with the menu and delivery items to provide accurate information to guests.
• Adhere to principles of excellent guest service and positive interpersonal skills.
