Job summary

Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is seeking a Busser to maintain dining room prep and guest service standards. You will clear, reset, and clean tables, stock china, glassware, and silverware, and assist wait staff to deliver fast, courteous service.

Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, this role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and the resilience to work in a lively, sometimes smoky environment while upholding quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• Previous busser experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate supply of china, silver, glassware at assigned stations.
• Set tables completely before and after shift.
• Wipe and clean tables with proper sanitizing material.
• Clear tables and place dirty dishes in dishwasher area.
• Set tables for service.
• Move tables to accommodate reservations.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 6) without tray service.
• Escort guests from podium to assigned station.
• Remove unneeded silverware and china after seating.
• Assist Wait staff to promote fast, courteous service.
• Maintain professional demeanor throughout service.
• Familiarize with menu and preparation times to provide accurate information.
• Describe all menu items to guests.
• Adhere to principles of excellent guest service and interaction.
