Job summary

Pinehurst Resort invites applicants for a Host/Hostess role in our dining outlets. You will greet guests, seat them, and support service teams to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months related experience. The position is onsite, with hours including holidays as needed; opportunities to work across outlets during busy periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 months related experience, or equivalent education.
• Able to stand, walk, and assist guests in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Excellent communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and seat Members/Guests
• Handle menus used during that meal period ensuring they are presentable
• Answering of phone during hours of operation
• Reporting to supervisor any needs, problems or concerns expresses by Members/Guests
• Assist servers when needed with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests
• Attend outlet staff meeting as scheduled
• Organize and keep Host/Hostess stand clean and neat
• Be available to work across Food and Beverage outlets and holidays as needed
