Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a service-oriented restaurant associate to serve meals to Members and Guests in a resort setting. You will present menus, answer questions, make recommendations, and relay orders accurately to the kitchen.

You will also greet guests warmly, maintain station readiness, and support smooth service throughout shifts. Attendance at training sessions and staff meetings is expected, with flexibility to work at different outlets and on holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum 3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of menu items, preparation, and prices.

Responsibilities

• Present menu, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Relay orders accurately to kitchen and serve courses.
• Perform assigned side work and stock credenzas.
• Greet Members/Guests professionally and use their names during service.
• Efficiently deliver and serve food and/or beverage orders.
• Restock station for next service and check out with supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and prices; handle financial accounting per procedures.
• Use Infogenesis system to process orders and transactions.
• Attend required training and outlet staff meetings.
