Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Philadelphia is seeking team members to deliver friendly, attentive service from start to finish of guests’ visits. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure a smooth dining experience.

This role involves knowledge of pastries, breads, beverages, and retail items, with opportunities to grow within Convive Brands. Flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained across dining room and retail spaces are highly valued; Toast

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive orders, enter into the POS, and follow up with the kitchen as necessary.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Organize money and receipts according to cash handling policy.
• Keep all areas clean and organized following cleaning checklists.
• Assist with setting up patio furniture and outside fixtures when applicable.
