HomeState is a Tex Mex Kitchen in Southern California that values warm hospitality and community. We seek a Service Team Member to provide guest-focused service across front door, beverage, expo, runner, busser, and packer roles, while guiding guests through the menu and ensuring accuracy.

A positive, energetic attitude and teamwork are essential for this on-site role in Los Angeles. Expect to work weekends with day or evening shifts; prior restaurant experience is preferred and a Food Handlers

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in the restaurant industry with guest facing roles preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, day shifts and evening shifts.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification Card (or ability to take company course within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Guest focus: build guest relationships and deliver hospitality-centric solutions; guide guests through the menu and ensure order accuracy.
• Action oriented: take on new tasks with urgency, manage time, and engage in hospitality tasks as needed.
• Resilient: calmly troubleshoot issues and communicate with honesty and transparency.
• Collaborative: work with the team to meet objectives and support daily tasks.
• Standards: follow sanitation guidelines and maintain clean, welcoming areas.
