Job summary

Huddle House is seeking a reliable server to join our team. You will welcome guests, take orders, and deliver meals with speed and courtesy. You’ll ring orders in accurately using a POS, handle payments, and ensure tickets are closed at shift end. Maintain cleanliness, stock, and follow safety guidelines to provide a great dining experience.

Part-time and full-time availability, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement are offered. Experience in customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• 16+ years old.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to wipe down tables, booths and floors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and verbal greeting.
• Review menu, suggestively sell products and take orders.
• Ring in orders and deliver food in a timely manner.
• Handle money and ring up tickets using the POS system.
• Ensure all tickets are closed and receipts tallied before shift end.
• Stock and prep, keep the unit clean at all times.
• Report safety concerns and customer complaints to management.
• Know the menu and daily features to upsell when applicable.
• Follow the steps of service to maximize shift sales.
• Follow safety, food handling, and cash security policies.
