Job summary

Huddle House is seeking a Restaurant Server to oversee day-to-day customer service and food service in the restaurant. You will receive food orders, convey them to the kitchen staff, and ensure prompt delivery while maintaining a clean, welcoming serving area.

This role emphasizes excellent guest service and teamwork with our franchise partner. The position requires a friendly, can-do attitude and may prefer prior restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all restaurant staff.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to be at your shift.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting.
• Review the menu with customers, suggestively sell products, and take orders.
• Submit tickets to the cook’s station using proper abbreviations.
• Deliver food in a timely manner to the customer when food is ready.
• Handle money from customers, account for all tickets and receipts, and close out tickets.
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Perform prepping and cleaning duties (bussing tables, sweeping and mopping, cleaning bathrooms).
• Report safety concerns and customer service issues to the manager immediately.
• Know the menu, daily features, juices, add-ons and desserts to upsell.
• Follow the Huddle House service steps with every guest to maximize shift sales.
