Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Effective communication with customers and team members is essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a warm verbal welcome.
• Review the menu with customers, suggest items, and take orders.
• Submit tickets to the cook’s station using proper abbreviations.
• Deliver food promptly when ready and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Handle payments, balance tickets, and close out shifts.
• Complete the position checklist and stock the unit for the next shift.
• Perform cleaning duties: bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms as needed.
• Report safety concerns and customer service issues to the manager.
• Know the menu, daily features, juices, add-ons, and desserts to upsell.
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service with every guest to maximize sales.
