Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Northern Kentucky is hiring for a Front of House team member in a fast-paced casino/restaurant setting. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell beverages and desserts, and ensure smooth service across the dining area.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience in full-service food service with knowledge of food and wine.
• Must qualify for a Maryland Lottery License.
• Must be able to lift trays of food above shoulder level for up to fifty yards.
• The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains all steps of the ACES customer service program with patrons and Team Members you may come in contact with.
• Interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
• Full setup, stocking, and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables.
• Take orders within five minutes of guest seating; enter table numbers in MICROS; present check to guests.
• Upsells beverages, appetizers, and desserts in line with service standards.
• Accurately collects payments and makes change to close out guest checks.
• Light cleaning in assigned section during shift; remove dirty dishes and keep area presentable.
• Monitor and replenish stock items in assigned area; maintain neatness and accuracy.
• Refill glassware, coffee cups, butter/condiments, and carry orders to tables.
• Make/Fill coffee or tea as required.
