Job summary

One Off Hospitality Group is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and bartenders in a high-volume Chicago restaurant setting. You will help deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to a clean, efficient operation.

The role requires a positive, can-do attitude, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safety and sanitation standards. Physical stamina for long shifts and standing is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Ability to handle stress under pressure.
• Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides water service and clears plateware, flatware and glassware for guests.
• Carries dishes to dishpit, bar area, or designated areas for soiled equipment.
• Replenishes items for guests as needed.
• Attends to guest requests and relays to servers, bartenders and managers when necessary.
• Keeps service stations clean, neat and orderly.
• Assists with housekeeping tasks and maintenance.
• Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assists other team members as needed.
