Job summary

Esplanade by the Islands in Naples, FL is seeking a Server to join Troon, a leader in golf and hospitality. You will greet guests, describe daily specials, take and deliver orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and relevant certifications (Food Safety, Alcohol Awareness). Cross-training in bartending and a valid license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describes specials, answers questions, and suggests menu items.
• Takes and delivers food and beverage orders promptly.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Sets up and breaks down golf stations each shift.
• Handles checks and cash transactions; uses POS system.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adheres to standards for greeting, cocktail service, and general service.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Cross-trains in bartending service.
• Adopts safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license may be required for certain range/golfcart duties.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
