Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly Server to join our Applebee’s Legacy Apple team. You’ll create memorable guest experiences by delivering food and drinks and attending to guests’ needs in a way that encourages return visits.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, making menu recommendations, relaying orders to the kitchen, presenting checks, processing payments, and helping reset dining areas.

Qualifications

• A desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• A positive attitude.
• Ability to wipe down tables and booths, and keep dining areas clean.
• Transports plates and glasses multiple times per shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills are required.
• Mobility is required during the entire shift.
• Transports glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and provide ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make menu suggestions.
• Interact with guests to create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via POS system.
• Observe guests and address any needs or requests.
• Present checks and process payments; make change or run charges.
• Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables.
