Thrive Restaurant Group, the family-owned company behind Applebee’s Legacy in many communities, is seeking a friendly Server. You’ll create memorable experiences by delivering food and drinks, greeting guests, and ensuring their needs are met with a upbeat, guest-focused attitude.

You’ll relay orders via the POS system, assist with tables, and help maintain a clean dining room. This role emphasizes teamwork, mobility, and a willingness to learn hospitality while contributing to neighborly

Qualifications

• A desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• A positive attitude.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports plates, glasses and baskets to and from the dining room, service bar, and the kitchen about 30 times per shift.
• Transports glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Observe and serve guests responding to any needs or requests.
• Present guest checks to each table and facilitates payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
