Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly server to provide attentive service in our Applebee’s restaurant. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

You will greet guests, answer questions, suggest menu items, and collaborate with the kitchen and bar to meet guests’ needs. A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports plates, glasses and baskets as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the POS system.
• Observe and serve guests responding to any needs or requests.
• Present guest checks to each table and facilitate payment.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
