Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to monitor staff and guests, enforce policies, and maintain a safe, entertaining environment.

You will respond calmly to emergencies, coordinate with Surveillance, control access to restricted areas, and assist in restraining unruly individuals when necessary. A high school diploma and English fluency are required, with 21+ age and a valid Illinois driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest-service role is required.
• Must understand and speak the English language clearly.
• 21+ years of age and a valid Illinois driver’s license are required/desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff and guests to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety rules.
• Maintain safety and security of operations and guests, staff, and assets.
• Provide high level customer service and promote a positive, entertaining experience for guests.
• Staff various posts as assigned and coordinate with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
• Control guest access to vessels or non-public areas and assist in restraining unruly individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
