Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a security associate to monitor guest and staff activities, enforce safety rules, and ensure a positive guest experience. You will work with Surveillance, manage access control, and help restrain individuals when needed.

Candidates must be 21+, have a High School Diploma or GED, and possess an Illinois driver’s license with the ability to drive a company vehicle. English proficiency is required. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must understand and speak the English language.
Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License.
Must be able to drive a company vehicle and adhere to MVR policy.

Responsibilities

Monitor activities of staff and guests to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and safety rules.
Take steps to ensure safety and security of operations.
Provide high level of customer service and promote a positive attitude for a fun, entertaining experience.
Staff various posts as assigned and coordinate with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
Maintain presence and action to ensure safety of guests, staff, and assets.
Monitor and control guest access to vessels or non-public areas.
Assist in restraining unruly or disruptive individuals when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
