Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms and provide attentive, courteous service to all guests. You will thoroughly clean rooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

This hourly position requires physical stamina to stand throughout shifts and lift up to 50 pounds, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork with the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways and public areas clean and vacuumed.
• Restock cleaning cart for next day.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to supervisor/manager.
• Handle Lost and Found as per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
