Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member in Florida to deliver prompt, friendly service at the register and on the floor.

You will operate a POS system, verify IDs for age-restricted products, and promote a wide selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cigars while maintaining store standards. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities including restocking, merchandising, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS system accurately, including processing transactions, applying discounts or promotions, verifying rewards accounts, validating product selections, ensuring age verification, and cash handling.
• Maintain Responsible Vendor status for alcohol & tobacco purchases by checking identification for age verification while operating POS, wine taps or tasting tables.
• Learn and promote ABC's selection of wine, spirits, beer, and cigars, including Sourced & Certified products.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and visual presentation of products on shelves and in beer coolers.
• Increase sales and product performance to meet store goals.
• Receive, unload, and validate invoices, organize and stock store deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment on the sales floor, stockroom, Team Member areas, and customer spaces such as restrooms.
• Assist with daily property upkeep by sweeping, debris removal, parking lot and walkways maintenance, cart collection, trash emptying, and restroom cleaning.
• Provide wrapping service, assemble gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Stay current on training, company policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and provide an informed Guest experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Leadership.
