Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Inc. in Florida seeks a team member to greet guests and provide friendly service. You will operate the POS, verify age, handle transactions, and maintain compliance as a Responsible Vendor while promoting our wide selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cigars.

Responsibilities include merchandising, stocking, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. You’ll assist with deliveries, wrap gifts, and support guests with carryout service as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• No prior retail experience required, though customer-facing work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS system accurately, process transactions, apply discounts, verify rewards, and ensure age verification.
• Maintain Responsible Vendor status for alcohol purchases while handling cash and stock movements.
• Learn ABC's wine, spirits, beer, and cigars, including Sourced & Certified products.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and visual presentation on shelves and in coolers.
• Increase sales and meet store goals through upsell and product knowledge.
• Receive, unload, and validate invoices, organizing stock deliveries.
• Keep the store, stockroom, and customer areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and carryout service when needed.
• Stay current on training, policies, and product knowledge for compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Leadership.
