Job summary

Daiso USA is seeking a Retail Store Sales Associate to deliver friendly, helpful service and drive sales at our Temple City, CA location. You will greet customers, answer questions, recommend products, and process transactions on the POS system while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

As a Lead Shift, you may assist with opening/closing, task coordination, and supporting the Store Manager to ensure a smooth daily operation and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales experience is a plus.
• Lead Shift experience is a plus for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, proactive customer service and answer product questions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to enhance the shopping experience.
• Upsell by recommending products and promotions.
• Maintain clean, organized merchandise displays and assist with stock.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly.
