Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to help ensure customers have a positive shopping experience.

You will greet customers with eye contact and a friendly demeanor, assist with merchandise, and maintain a clean, well-merchandised store to meet our standards. You will follow safety procedures, support store operations, and uphold the Ross brand while assisting customers at the register and handling transactions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience; greet customers and maintain eye contact.
• Assist customers with merchandise and inquiries in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.
• Maintain clean, organized store, follow safety procedures, and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Operate registers and handle transactions with accuracy and courtesy.
• Support loss prevention and follow MOS policies; report any issues to Store Leadership.
• Represent the Ross Inc. brand and uphold company policies and dress code.
