Job summary

Hireology is seeking a server to provide fast, friendly food and beverage service in a busy restaurant environment in San Diego, CA. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and maintain a clean, organized station throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include accurate POS operation, fast order throughput, upselling, and ensuring compliance with alcohol-service laws. Must meet local age and health requirements; high-energy team player desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar.
• Must be at least 21 to serve alcoholic beverages in California.
• Food Handlers Card or ABC Certification preferred; CPR/First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service in server’s section in a quick, professional, and efficient manner.
• Take accurate orders and upsell using product knowledge.
• Operate the POS system accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked station and complete side-work and opening/closing duties.
• Exhibit a positive energy and strong guest relations in a busy environment.
• Adhere to ABC laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
