Job summary

Albany Marriott in Albany, NY is seeking a part-time server to provide friendly food and beverage service, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires attention to detail, accurate order entry, and adherence to safety and liquor regulations.

The successful candidate will handle shifts in a fast-paced hotel dining setting, work with a friendly team, and contribute to a high standard of guest experience and professional service.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Food Handler Card or in process of certification.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Strong knowledge of state and corporate liquor regulations.
• Good English communication and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and explain specials/promos.
• Check station before/during/after shift for setup and cleanliness.
• Take and repeat orders to confirm accuracy.
• Input orders into POS and inform kitchen.
• Deliver orders with correct condiments and check guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations.
• Assist with bus duties and side work as needed.
• Maintain neat, clean appearance and follow safety rules.
