Qualifications

• Knowledge of liquor regulations pertaining to serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Current Food Handler Card or in process.
• Valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparations, service standards and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and communicate simple instructions.
• Ability to follow written product labeling instructions for safety.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and explain specials or promotions.
• Check station for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Record and repeat guest order to ensure accuracy.
• Input order into POS to inform kitchen staff.
• Deliver orders with condiments after confirming accuracy.
• Adhere to liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Market desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
• Assist bus staff with clearing and resettling tables.
• Perform side work and general cleaning as assigned.
• Present the check promptly and follow company policies.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report hazards or incidents.
• Maintain neat, clean appearance as per handbook.
• Assist other restaurant personnel as needed.
