Valor Hospitality is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to deliver prompt food and beverage service in our Birmingham dining venue. Greet guests, take orders, memorize menu items, handle payments, stay attentive, and maintain cleanliness while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Three to six months in a food/beverage services environment.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take orders, serve food and drinks, accommodate special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen areas.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions.
• Process payments and ensure accuracy of guest checks.
• Attend meetings and stay informed about products and services.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Perform opening/closing side-work and restocking.
• Assist guests by providing timely information and addressing inquiries.
