Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Meridian, MS is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, control costs, and maintain brand standards across all service levels.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent English communication, and a track record in hospitality. You’ll schedule shifts, manage inventory, and coach team members to deliver consistent service while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications as required by laws.
• Three to five years’ experience in hospitality, guest-focused.
• High School education or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred.
• Working knowledge of general restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Uphold company and brand standards, policies and procedures; hold staff accountable.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments and delegate tasks to staff.
• Direct service on the floor and reflect hotel brand culture; follow up as needed.
• Create staff schedules to ensure proper staffing.
• Track stock levels, forecast needs, and oversee ordering.
• Manage budgets and cost control to minimize expenses.
• Maintain safety programs for restaurant, employees, and guests.
• Ensure employee appearance reflects company image.
• Hire, train and manage restaurant team members.
• Ensure clean, safe work areas for employees and guests.
• Ensure cashier functions and end-of-shift procedures are performed correctly.
• Ensure in-room dining and storage requisitions are completed.
