Momosan Ramen Boston, by Morimoto at Hub Hall, is seeking a part-time Restaurant Cashier to join our team. You will process transactions, assist guests, and help maintain accurate cash handling as part of a fast-paced dining environment.

This tipped position offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for training and development. You will collaborate with dining room and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate payments in a busy venue.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation, and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount if needed
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables’ orders using the venue’s primary point of sale system
