Job summary

The Bay Club Resort in Ocean City, MD is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round role with 40-hour weeks, rotating on-call schedules and weekend availability.

The position requires a strong guest-service mindset and practical maintenance skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and more. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, responding to guest repair requests, inventory management, and coordinating with shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Trade or Vocational School Degree.
• Strong customer service orientation and skills.

Responsibilities

• Addresses guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Welcomes and acknowledges every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
• Responds to all guest complaints promptly and, if cannot remedy the situation, let the proper people know so they can follow up and try to satisfy the guest.
• Maintains maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and performs basic repairs.
• Performs repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and external landscaping sprinklers.
