Job summary

Fairway Forest Resort in Sapphire, NC seeks a dedicated Facilities Technician to support maintenance across guest areas and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to guest repair requests, and coordinate with shifts to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations.

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics and coordinating with teams is preferred. Full-time, year-round schedule with on-call duties and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Guest-service oriented with strong communication.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate issues to shifts.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Document activities and safety concerns per policies.
• Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment; comply with Lockout/Tagout.
